Is there a shortcut to delete your messages on the blackberry pearl?

I usually go through and delete each message one by one, but it takes forever, does anyone know if there is a shortcut where you can delete all the messages together?

You can delete all messages prior to a certain date. What you do is roll the track ball and highlight a date, press the menu key, then select Delete Prior. This will delete all messages prior to that date.
