Is there a simple solution for repairing a BE Steyr AUG airsoft AEG?

I recently purchased a BE (Both Elephant) Steyr AUG from Amazon. The product was claimed to be new, but upon receiving it, I realized that this electric rifle was not firing properly. Yes, it was firing. However, the BBs that was loaded would move just mere millimeters before rolling out of the barrel. I'd rather not have to send it back to get it repaired, seeing as how the company would more than likely send another faulty product (perhaps not the seller's fault, but BE themselves). Is there possibly a simple solution to the problem?

Extra information:

The rifle is not jammed. All BBs that are loaded into the rifle do fire out, but do not actually project from the rifle.

The battery should be fully charged (upon charging for three hours).

No parts have been tampered with when the rifle was removed from the package. The rifle was merely assembled so that the non-working scope was mounted to it.

Does the magazine feed properly?  Do you have another magazine you can test.  Feed problems usually involve the magazine.

The bigger picture is the BE product line.  Very crappy with poor quality control.  I dropped this line earlier this year because 75% of the time they stopped working in the first 5000 rounds. There were wiring issues, feed issues, gear boxes stripped out, etc.  If you looking for sub-$100 look at JG or Dboys.  They both make much better products.

I would return that gun ASAP, if they take back returns and get something different.
