Ebay is good...Craigslist, if you live in or near a decent sized city, can't be beat in my book. All it takes is patience and watchfulness and that amazing deal you dreamed about WILL show up.  Sooner or later someone will need to huck a nice bike for rent or something and there you go....

ebay is the best place to start. there are other places which also specialize in specific bikes like vintage bikes, tri bikes etc

Both of the aforementioned sites have bikes.  I bought my last two bikes on eBay.......make sure you know what you are looking for;  if you dont know a lot about bikes, find someone who does to help you sort thru what is being offered.....
