Is there a site online that mails free smoke detectors?

I saw a place online once and ordered smoke detectors at no cost. I can't remember the site now, was hoping someone else might know of one. Thanks.:-)

go back online and type in what you need, if there are any sites on there they will pop up.

Call or stop by your local Fire Department. They usually provide them free to low income households.
