Your health insurance payment is sent by your employer to the health insurer on a schedule - it might be weekly, but is probably monthly or quaterly.

In order to avoid the bite of having four or even twelve weeks of payments taken from your check, your employer takes it out each week. If you want to change it, talk to your employer.

health insurance is deducted from your pay every time you get paid. your employer may pay a portion and that is all coded in automatically. if anything-maybe it's taken out once a month if you get paid bi-weekly.
