Is there a site where you can watch tv (local channels)?

i have no tv in my room, just dont want to run a long cable cord across the house. can i watch cable from my desktop please help me

I have not found any reliable websites that will allow you to do this.  If you really wanted to, you could go out and purchase a TV tuner and install it in your computer.  This would allow you to use your computer just like you would a TV.  You could hook cable up to it if you wanted to.  Since you said you don't want to run a long cable and you only want local channels, you could just hook up a small antenna and be able to watch TV on your computer.
