I live alone so I need a small rice cooker. But every one I've seen is plastic, and/or goes in the microwave and/or is coated with nonstick surface crud. Does anyone out there have a small rice cooker that is not for microwaves, not plastic (at least inside), and not coated with a nonstick surface chemical?

  1. Yeah a small pot with a tight fitting lid.

  2. I don't know about your country, but here in Australia things that are harmful to your health don't make it past the first check point, so you won't find them on the market here. Surely it's the same in all developed countries? There is always the small electric rice cookers, have you looked at those?

  3. It's called a pot.

  4. go to your local asian market. they usually sell rice cooker's there. this kinds is the one you plug into your outlet. and have a switch on and off button. hope you find one. good luck!
