  1. Sit back and watch the other suckers lose theirs.

  2. Yup play at a limit you are comfortable with.

In terms of odds, the Free Odds Basic Strategy gets the house edge down to around 0.5% (on full double odds). This is because when taking odds, your odds bets are paid out at their true value. If you take up the casino comps, cash back offers etc.. you'll be practically even in the long run.

    good luck

  3. As other have said there isn't really a "winning" answer to this question... but here's what I do.

I put $5 on the Don't Pass line.  After the come out roll I lay single odds on my Don't pass bet. (for example if the point becomes a 6 I lay $6 behind my Don't Pass Line bet, if the point became a 4 I would lay $10 behind my Don't bet)  At the same time I put $5 in the Don't Come box.

Next number rolls my d/c bet moves, and I put another $5 in the don't come box... next number, another $5 in the don't come.  I keep that going until the 7 shows and I win.  I've played for HOURS this way and started with only a $50 bank roll.

There was an older guy next to me at a craps table several years ago that showed me this way of playing.  The way he explained it...  The key to the strategy is that you can NEVER lose ALL of your bets on one roll.  Each d/c bet stays on the table waiting for the 7 unless that number is rolled again.  The strategy can be fun to play at a cold or choppy table (when most others are losing everything) and can also be fun to play at a "hot" table because even then the 7's seemed to be rolled on the come outs.

  4. Find a low limit table and just play the pass line with 2 or 3 times odds.  This signifigantly reduces the house edge, and can win you money if you're a little lucky.  Another way is to play the pass and don't pass line at the same time, and just fill up on free drinks.  Get drunk enough and everything is enjoyable!  You'll lose a little due to the 12 being a push for your don't pass bet, but that will only happen on average one out of every 36 come out rolls.  You'll have paid for your drinks by then.

  5. PLAY $5 PASS AND $5 DON'T PASS AT THE SAME TIME. WHEN A POINT IS MADE, LAY ODDS ON THE DON'T PASS BET. WAIT FOR A DECISION. ONLY THE ODDS ARE AT RISK,AND WILL BE PAID CORRECTLY WHEN THE 7 SHOWS. THE LINE BETS ARE A WASH,AND THE ODDS OF THE 7 BEING ROLLED ARE IN YOUR FAVOR.ONLY THE 12 ON THE COME OUT WILL LOSE $5.THE HOUSE EDGE IS .03%.HAVE FUN!
