i heard of this special potted plant that they sell just about everywhere. its supposed to filter the air somehow, and is especially effective in "absorbing" the "toxins" that our everyday computers and electronics emit into the air indoors. i didnt even know our electronics were so poisonous to us or unhealthy for us to be around for so long. apparently, the plant works like trees in their processes of taking in what we humans breathe back out into the atmosphere, carbon dioxide. trees take this carbon dioxide that we exhale to convert to oxygen that we as humans need to breathe properly. essentially, it is a cycle based on exchange. the plant is supposed to work in a similar nature, pun intended. what is this plant called again?

  1. It's called any plant. Any plant will take CO2 from the air and release O2, but a nice plant for around the computer area could be bamboo they are kinda neat looking and are supposed to be good luck.

  2. A plant on your desk acts as a natural filter, absorbing airborne pollutants and computer radiation while replenishing oxygen levels.

  3. yeah cookie is right, any plant is good because they all do the same job, however ofcourse you need an indoor plant that does not need a lot of light, and also being near your computer you would want one that doesnt need much water, for the simple fact that you are more likely to get water on your computer! i suggest a Bangallow palm!

  4. Philodendrons are nice they grow in bright or low light and are great oxygen exchangers..... And of course bamboo is also great.. And looks very nice no matter where you put it.

  5. Try Cannibus sativa, just don't let the boss find it.

  6. Dracaena marginata (dragon tree) is one of the best especially for VOCs.

I have two in my living room. One next to my tele and the other next to my computer.
