Is there a special secret club that most cyclists are in???

I only ask because every time i need to turn into a road, there will be a cyclist who stops peddling and just slowly cruises by my turning...

Also while i'm on the subject.... How comes cyclists can cycle dangerously/or not, on the road but pay no insurance or tax??? I'm not trying to upset or offend anyone but igenuinelyy don't know and am curious..thankyou x

Well cyclists are either serious athletes,commuters riding to work or people riding for fun. I have noticed where I live that the streets are particularily dangerous for cyclists because there are no bicylce lanes. I suggest convince your representatives in your area to provide lanes where both vehicles can drive safely. Its not only cost effective but it is great exercise for the body. Everyone is taxed for riding on the road it is part of the money which disappears from your paycheck each month. The best that you can do while driving behind them is change lanes and pass them carefully and or turn down another street. Not all cyclists are responsible but I'll assure you that far more people are killed by other drivers than people riding bicycles. If one of them is making you nervous slow down and try to get out of the way. I

ride my bike but always in suburban neighbourhoods because of the danger of traffic. I wish that the roads were safer for everyone. I think that every city should have bicycle lanes because they create safer roads and encourage people to take alternative forms of transportation. Just think of this, less people purchasing gas can only be positive!
