Is there a specific time in my day when running is the best?

I don't mean like what time of day is the best due to weather or anything. I'm wondering if like is there a time where my body is the most receptive to exercise?

  1. try running in the morning about 30 mins after u wake up. have a carb filled meal the nite before then get 8-9 hrs of sleep then take a light jog for about 2 mins to wake ur muscles up, then strecth so u dont pull anything, then go for a hard paced 3-5 mile run or longer depends on wat u want.  o and drink lots of water.  not while running tho.


  2. Running mornings and nights are great way to start and end your days! But running when its hottest is best for a great workout!

  3. Yea...I don't know about the answer above me but ok. I'm a 2 year swimmer, 5 year track runner, and Varsity track runner for my school. The best time to run is when it is cool. So either early in the morning between 5 - 9am to anytime in the evening after 5 or 6pm. Your body will feel a whole lot comfortable exercising in these times. Running when it is hot or when the sun is at its peak is no good for exercising because you lose more fluids than you would exercising when it cool due to excessive sweating. Yes, sweating is good because it get the toxins out BUT it's not good when it takes all your fluids and have you on a gurney to the nearest hospital on IV.
