Question:

Is there a spray that Caregivers can use to make marijuana smell more potent than it is???

My friend is a medical marijuana patient, and the caregiver that provides her medication's buds ALWAYS smell very potent, like it should, but it has a VERY SLIGHT chemical smell to its potent aroma...I suggested to her that her caregiver may have found some sort of "Skunk Spray", or "Chronic Spray" online or at a head shop, to make it smell more potent than it really is. Any and all advice, comments, information, and suggestions with this would be great!!! Thank you for your time!

  1. there is some bud that naturally has a chemical like smell to it and caregivers would be the last people who would contaminate bud

  2. Well without seeing it I can't really say much.  It might just be well hydrated and therefore will give off a much stronger smell.  If however it is dry then more then likely it's just a strong smelling variety.  Common misconception is the stronger the smell the more potent the plant.  That however is not the case, freshness, curing and oil production is what causes the smell to be strong or not.  If you get some "dirt weed" that is completely fresh and cured properly it will smell very strongly but it in itself is not a potent plant. I have never heard of a spray that will make your stuff smell better and couldn't see why you would use it but that doesn't mean its not out there.

  3. noooo..

  4. so basically...a placebo spray to trick the person into thinking it is more "powerful" than it really is?  I'm not sure there would be an actual market for such a product...as most people would prefer the smell to NOT be so obvious.

In Canada, medical marijuana is either supplied directly to the patient from the government (it's c**p, by the way) or they can get it from a compassion club or get a license to grow their own.  Caretakers have no role in supplying it at all.

I don't know of any evidence that says the smell is related to the potency. (on the other hand...I haven't actually looked for any either)

  5. No,

the grower is probably growing the Hydroponic way using

    chemical salts for the nutrients.

After growing they should do a flush period of just water

and maybe some organic fertilizer, but a lot will skip this

step and some people like myself can taste a chemical taste.

  6. No it's just medical Marijuana so it smells different.

  7. medical marijuana should not have anything sprayed on it. but i know that you can spray pineapple juice and differrent things like that to get it to smell really dank

  8. If there were I suppose it would benefit suppliers as much as 'caregivers'

  9. you cant tell how potent weed is by the smell..
