I am missing the s***w for my pool light and the light is not flush with the wall at the top where the s***w should be. The light works great but very loose. What size should I get?

I dont want it to rust either. I see where it should go at the top but I dont want to break anything. I dont know the brand of light.

Any help would be great. Thanks

  1. A pentair light  is the most common light out there. Its known as the amerilite which used to be made by american products. This s***w should be available at any pool store. Its not really a special thread, but it has a tapered end which really helps get the s***w centered, especially when you are fighting the bouyancy of the light and holding your breath underwater!

  2. look to see if the cover is counter sunk of just flush,if its not flush get a countersunk s***w,also use a stainless steel s***w.they dont rust.
