Is there a story behing Coheed and Cambria?

I love the band Coheed and Cambria and I've heard that all of there songs are linked to make up a story. Is that true? And if so, what's the story?

yess its linked to the AMORY wars which claudio sanchez writes :P all the songs are about different parts in the storyline and its very hard to explain unless you buy them :]\

their lyrics are (supposedly) based off a comic book that the lead singer is creating called Armory War.
