Question:

Is there a substitute for Breastflow (Learning Curve) bottles?

The bottles are not BPA-free. We have read from Baby's R Us that they have an overall excellent customer rating but we can't find a substitute that will accept the nipple or duplicates the same natural feel of breast feeding.

  1. if you want to try these bottle but are worried about BPA just put an avent Tempo liner in the bottle then fill and feed like normal the lines fit in perfectly aslo works for the wid neck soothie bottles.

when My friend contacted learning curves this is what they said

Learning Curve  due to public concerns, we are working on alternatives to polycarbonate feeding items which will start shipping later this year

  2. I almost hate saying this. I DO hate saying this but Avent bottles' nipples are suppose to be close to the mother's nipples. I did not breastfeed but was told this from many people. Always thought they were good bottles. Unfortunately I regret registering for them. They leak a lot so I wouldn't say they are worth it. They are making BPA free ones now but we have the regular ones and even though I hate them we will continue to use them. Can't afford others. And the BPA that's in them isn't as bad as what consumers think.  My daughter's pediatrician showed me an article about it at the office.
