I am going to start my container garden next year.

I still have my mom's gardening magazine.I saw the dwarf blueberry tree and I am definately going to get it. I also saw the Northpole apples.Northpole apples grow on stalks instead of trees and can fit in a big pot.

Is there a such thing as a dwarf cherry tree?

Perhaps a dwarf cherry tree, but raspberries grown on bushes/vines. You may be able to keep trimming a raspberry until it develops a trunk. A neighbor did that with a wisteria vine, since they have such pretty flowers. He changed a wild plant into a small tree in his front yard, but he has to constantly trim the tree or it sends out vines.
