do they make pegs for the rear wheel of a mtn bike and if they do where can u buy them?

  1. Yes and you can typically buy them at almost and bike store. Or you can try Walmart as they occasionally have them too.


  2. you could use them, but why? they'd only be practical on the left, as on the right you'd run the risk of bashing the c**p out of your derailleur! anyway, there are too many rails on MTB trails that would make adding the weight of rail pegs worth while!

  3. bmx pegs aren't actually bmx specific. pegs basically act as bolts to hold a wheel to the frame in place of nuts, and when there aren't pegs there have to be nuts.

    on any bike, pegs are interchangeable for nuts barring weirdo british/french standards from back in the day.

    , but I should mention that I know this because a 15mm wrench removes those nuts and you use a 15mm long socket wrench to take care of the peg - same universal size.
