Question:

Is there a such thing as "too much" spin?

everytime when i play with my friends they dont like playing against me because of the massive amounts of spin i put into my forehand and serve. My serve has so much topspin that it just loops then kicks right over the returner and my forehand bounces about upper chest level also a few times the topspin would bounce into my opponent. sometimes my heavy spin style causes me to get in alot of trouble with volleyers and low balls should i change up my game or just keep it as it is?

  1. hahahaha

well, to get THAT much spin on your serve is special.

    :D

there is "such" a thing as too much spin.

but it's mostly when it goes into the net.

if you can only hit spin and not slice or flat....then that's a worry.

but that's pretty handy....well only if it goes in.

if you don't like the spin then move to a semi-western grip

(that's only of your already using an extreme western)

  2. Find some better players that will not complain. Years ago my friends on the tennis team complained that I hit so hard. MY daughter does not complain. She has learned to deal with harder and faster balls and it has helped her a lot.

  3. u might want to flatten out some of your shots..

  4. no. look at how good nadal is and look at how much spin he puts on it
