Is there a such thing as yellow gold?

My Family & I were at a the mall & a man had a stand

& said he was selling gold. we didn't buy it because we werent quite sure if it was real or not.

has anyone ever heard of yellow gold?

Yeah yellow gold is the name of the colour of normal gold.

there's also white gold.

Yes...that is the most common type of gold. Another one is White Gold...which looks almost silver but has a bit of a yellow tint to it.

Yes pure gold is yellow.  I'm not sure I would buy gold from a man at a stand in a mall, although he may be quite honest.  If he's not there the next time you go back, how do you know the gold is real?
