  1. tell them you dont believe in corporal punishment since theres so much proof on the misstakes and lies made.--look at the people that  have been incarcerated for rape before dna.--and then the prosecution waits for years to have the dna done that may exonerate.--seems the da office and even the public defenders office go quickly to convict but drag their asses to exonerate..--write this verbatim and you will never serve--lol

  2. Yep.

When they call you in, show up, and scream 'That motherf**ker is GUILTY AS CHARGED!!!' I don't need to see any evidence!!  I don't care about any testimony - nothing is going to change my mind!!!  GUILTY GUILTY GUILTY.

They will not ask you to come back.  Gauranteed.

  3. NO! I tried not responding to the letter and they finally sent me a summons certified and it said if I do not show up a warrant would be issued for my arrest. But most likely you will sit there for a couple hours (so bring magazines or something) and then they will send you home. If that doesnt happen then they will interview you and you can tell them that you have trouble telling the dif between who is lieing and who is telling the truth. Or you can tell them that you are racist I know its probably not something you want to say but it will def get you out!

  4. Some of the ways mentioned here are sure to get you excused from duty.

I might suggest however that you turn your attention to the fact that our country is a democracy...freedom won very hard....gives YOU the right to vote and speak your mind.  With those rights come responsibility....we are required to do our civic duty....called to jury duty.

So I guess I would challenge you to think how you GET to be considered for jury duty in a free democracy while other folk in this world would trade places with you in a heartbeat for the privilege of just being called and considered for jury duty.

    You have a good day.

  5. Yes.  Get a medical excuse.

  6. Um, hello! You can just Not Go.

  7. If you say that you don't feel you can be fair and impartial due to certain biases and predjudices or whatever the reason - they will not allow you to remain or be chosen for a jury.

  8. surefire way: die

  9. You don't deserve to be a citizen of this country if you won't do your civic duty. People like you complain about our justice system but won't do your part to make it work. Shame on you.

  10. i would not try to put on an act on the stand some lawyers pick up on this and will keep you. I saw some blatently do this and they were made to stay.

  11. I went to jury duty, got chosen to participate, and had a blast!!! They all stood up when we walked in the room, gave us bottled beverages (whatever we wanted!) for free, and kissed our butts! I even got to flirt with a cute ATF agent from across the room!

And besides all that superficial c**p I just explained, I felt good because I performed a civic duty. I felt important those couple of days, and you know what? I was important. I got to participate in helping the defendant (after many hours of deliberation) get off for something I felt he was wrongfully accused for.

  12. During the interview, express, to the lawyers, a very negative opinion of the accused.

Ex: The guy killed someone. Say: "I wish he burn in h**l for what he did." or "I'm so going to put him away for that."

    DON'T BE IMPARTIAL, BUT BIAS!

  13. you should be glad to serve its your duty as a citizen or should we just let the crooks run free to muder and rob
