Is there a surgery to repair Keratoconis?

I have Keratoconis. Is there a surgery yet to repair it? I have a horrible time trying to put in Hard contacts. Plus my job is dirty, so it irritates my contacts

  2. not positive but i believe you could get a corneal transplant (depending on the other factors of your health and eyes)

  3. If the condition progresses to severe with corneal scarring and reduced vision even with contacts, then you can have a corneal transplant.  This is not a surgery you want to have, takes about 6 months to heal and there is always a chance of rejection.  

    Wear safety glasses with side shields on the job.  If the dirt irritates your eyes with contacts, it will be worse without.
