Not for grades K-12.  Earlier than kindergarten you might be able to take a child care deduction if you meet all the qualifications, and most private colleges are eligible institutions for education credits for tuition and fees.

There is not any deduction for private school tuition or costs in the federal law or the California law at this time. There have been several attempts to facilitate this but none have been successful yet. There are states that do allow some credit but not California.
