  1. ha if a team did have a British players they would've gotten relegated a long time ago

  2. Man utd,OH! sorry i thought you said Bratish players.

  3. They could do, they've got enough British players to do so.

However their captain is Martin Laursen who is Danish, their goalkeeper is Brad Friedel who is American and one of their strikers, Carew, is Norweigan.

They also have Bouma (injured) who is Dutch I believe.

They've signed a Spanish defender as well.

  4. No there isn't but Villa do play a lot :)

  5. at this point i don't think so... but just a few years ago if you told sir alex that he would have Brazilians on his team by 2008 he would have thought you mad! he would have laughed in your face and look at the team now!!! carlos tevez, fabio and Rafael!!!!!

  6. Well, Villa can field very strong British team(Taylor, L.Young, Knight, Davies, Shorey, Routledge, Reo Coker, Sidwell, Barry, A.Young, Agbonlahor) not to forget Harewood, Craig Gardner, Issiah Osbourne and possibly Dean Ashton and Kevin Doyle(if they join today)

I can't think of any other team, Tottenham a few years ago had a very strong nucleus of British talent but that isn't as much the case now. But I think they still can (Alnwick, Hutton, Woodgate, King, Bale, Lennon, Huddlestone.Jenas, Bentley, Bent(well, 1 short!!) But they also have Michael Dawson and Chris Gunter too.

  7. Nah but the closest is probably Villa or Portsmouth

  8. A full British team would probably get religated in the Premiership because British players are c**p compared to foreigners

  9. I was just about to say that Aston Villa play about eight English players most games, but there isn't a club that ever fields eleven British players.

  10. Aston Villa can place a British starting line up but the last team to do an all-English side was Middlesbrough a couple of years in the Premiership

  11. yeah we (portsmouth) have james, johnson, campbell, davies, defoe and crouch, who all started this saturday against Everton. I dont think any other team will field no more then 6 english players this season.

  12. I think Pompey are one of the closest that do but no premiership team do.

  13. Nope, not in the Premiership.

And Aston Villa mostly has British players but not all of them are British. There's Wilfred Bouma, who's from The Netherlands...and the captain Martin Laursen who is from Denmark.
