I've met people who ONLY drink soda and have dietary intake primarily consisting of foods low in water. Of course, they're obese, but they've been following this course for years. Is there a term for such a long term lack of proper hydration?

  1. Not really - dehydration is going to be the closest you come.  Incidentally, soda is mostly water - and many of our favorite foods have a high water content.

  2. Dehydration
