Yep, I like this one on Iams.com, but I would look into the information of other dogs too, just to make sure your getting what's best for you.

All dogs have different personalities. Just like humans. Male/female Chihuahua or great dane they all have their own unique behavior!

You can type dog quiz in your search engine and a ton of sites offer quizzes to determine the perfect dog for you.  They are a great waste of time.  If you check that you want a small dog, they will recommend a large dog.  If you don't want to spend a lot of time grooming, it will recommend a dog that needs a lot of grooming.  You would have better luck going to the shelter and picking a dog that way.  Good luck

i know that if you go to the Blue cross sanctuary they come to your home to check if it is suitable before you get a dog, they could probably advise you too.

I don't think there is a test one can take. I would recomend doing some research on different breeds that you like and see which breed suits you and your families needs and lifestyle.
