  1. Its about as thing as floss; i watch my self on when I'm being sarcastic, because i have let myself cross the line, and it wasn't pretty haha.

  2. I try to be sarcastic but people take it as rudeness (on this sight)

but in real life people get what i am saying maybe online people aren't that smart. i am not saying all of them just some of them.

  3. I think its going to depend on the person it is being said too. I could say the say exact thing to someone and they will get the sarcasm and think its funny whereas someone else will think its rude.

  4. Yes, my friend, it can be a very thin line, and by the time you reach your 50's, you'll reach for the reading glasses.

For snarkiness and pithiness, you'll need to grab the microscope. Or a 12 gauge. Or a single malt.

If nuance is involved, dump the shot glasses and drink directly  from the Scotch bottle, then go to bed. Nuance is way too dangerous.

  5. i guess it could also be the way you say it

  6. I never cross it, it's just other peoples perceptions that do that.

  7. I always shoot for rudeness but usually fall short so it works for me.

  8. I think rudeness is when you upset someone's feelings. Sarcasm is normally good-natured, unless somebody involved is very sensitive.

I guess it just takes knowing the person that you are acting sarcastic towards. If it's someone who has a similar sense of humor, they probably won't mind.
