Is there a time limit on going after someone who has forged your name on auto loan?

When i was in Iraq my wife at the time purchase a car without my knowledge. She didn't have a power attorney and she forged my signuature to get the car. I have proof that i was in Iraq at the time of the purchased and also i have document show that the signuature wasn't minds. Since all this has happen the car was repo when we got divorcre and i got a call from the creditor to pay this debt. Is there something that i can do to go after her and the car dealership for letting her forge my name.
