Is there a time line between Dr visits before the Ins Co can refuse to pay?

I was in a car accident in 1989 and I have a open no fault claim they are now saying that since it has been a yr since I saw the Dr last they are refusing to pay any further claims, there is money in this claim can they do that?

  1. You're talking about a car accident that's almost 20 years old.

    You'll have to ask your agent, but I'm assuming that they are in compliance with state law.  I know for sure, for workers comp cases with ongoing medical treatment, if a whole year goes by with no medical treatment, then that case can be closed.  Since your case is SO old, it's WELL past that statute of limitations, regardless of what state you are in, it's probably the same.
