  1. just about anything with a sharp edge

  2. I don't know how much you have to cut, but I've heard that an electric kitchen knife works real well.

  3. My Leatherman that has a knife that I always keep sharp does styrofoam just fine

  4. The easiest is to use a saber saw with a knife blade or a blade with fine teeth, use this method for curved pieces.

For straight cuts use a utility knife and if it is a thick piece you can snap it off after you make cuts on both sides.

  5. in the past i've always used a motorized serrated knife - like a turkey carving knife you'd use at thanksgiving. not sure if they even still make those anymore, but it works really well for me. to smooth edges after cutting, use sandpaper.

  6. the simplest way without making a mess is to heat a piece of cloths hanger with a blow torch, use it like a knife. cuts clean no mess

  7. really depending on your project . if you useing for  insulation?

then a table saw will work , or a saw - saw      if you need only  need  .fo roofing  or sideling   ,            they make a steel wire   that hot ,  will slice  thru it also     ,but will be  pricey  just for a one off project

    i use  my table  saw......

  8. If you want to leave clean edges heat a knife and then push it right through.

  9. A knife, serated knives work really well.

  10. a hot knife, which is a electric wire, wired to a low voltage supply, you can use any serrated knife or saw.If you are going to be cutting a lot of Styrofoam, they are plan for hot knifes on the Internet,
