  1. Yes there are many, depending on the region.

The most well known is the Traje de Faralaes or traje de flamenca (gypsy costume). It's the one that is most often seen in documentaries and on postcards. It is originally the costume of Seville, although now it is used during most of the fairs in Andalusian cities.

The best resumé of the regional costumes was brought out during the sixties in a series of postage stamps...

There is a website where you can see them all:

  2. Yes, there are many, and depend on the Comunidad Autonóma (sort of region). Don't ever make the mistake to assume the tradional dress is the sevillana or flamenco one, because that's the tradiotional one in the South, mainly Andalucía, but it's offensive to many Spaniard to assume it's the national one. In the north they do look a bit alike, but they are all different. In Galicia they drees in black and red, or green, it's call muñeira and they dance to the sound of backpipes (not unlike the Irish), and so do they in Asturias. In Cataluña they dance sardanas and they also have diffent dresses, and in Valencia they dress asa falleras. In Madrid the traditional dress it's call chulapos and in Aragón they wear something called chachirulos over their head. Every region has it's especial day/days when they wear their costumes, have a look in Google if you're interested.
