I concur with the above answer as regards route.  It takes approx 8 hours from Kodaikanal to Bangalore and from there there are approx 5 trains to Hyderabad it takes approx 13 hours from Bangalore to Hyderabad by train.

From Kodaikanal to Chennai it takes 6- 8 hours by bus and by train it may take longer.  Chennai to Hyderabad is 16 hours there are 3 trains from chennai to hyderabad

no direct bus or train from kodaikanal to hyderabad. bus route is  

madurai - karur - salem - bangalore - hyderabad. train route is catch train  from kodai road station to chennai then to hyderabad.
