Is there a train going from Southport, England to London?

  1. Yes, there is a train station in Southport. There aren't any direct trains, so you have to change once or twice to get to London. See the nationalrail web site for times and prices.


  2. The main national rail station is in downtown Liverpool (Lime street Station. It takes just over two hours to get to London (Euston station: near King's Cross).

      To get from Southport to Liverpool there is a local commuter train called MerseyRail (see map in source). You take the train from southport into Moorfields, and then you hop a short train called "the loop" for a 2 minute ride to Lime St. Station. This will add about 1 hour (plus wait time) to your journey. It might be difficult with a lot of luggage.
