Is there a train route from Rome Termini to Venice Mestre and how much would this cost per person?

Where can I buy the ticket? I'll be in Italy during the first week of June.

Go to www.trenitalia.com.  Sign up and you can check timetables and fares and even buy eTickets.  GREAT way to travel. The eTickets are changeable up to day of travel with not change fees. Some trains go all the way into Venice Santa Maria which is what you want to do if you want to go to Venice center.

You can buy the ticket at trenitalia.com.  There are lots of direct trains on that route - mostly Eurostar - and the tickets run about €50 each way for 2nd class.
