Is there a trick to putting on eyeliner on the top lid?

well... i use the mechanical eyeliner. and ive always wanted to put it on the top. but it just doesnt work out. so i thought... maybe there is a way or doing this.

Warm the eyeliner first then it will be creamier and easier to apply. Just roll it between your hands :]

Then place your finger on the outer corner of your eye and gently pull out towards your ear making your eye half close or close fully.

Then hold it there and then you can draw the line close to your lashes.

if you mean on top of they eyelashes kind of thing you pull your lid so its kind of tight then slowly line it. if you mean your actual LID, like under the lashes, pull your lid up and look down with that eye

To make it easier if you haven't already tried this is pull your eyelids in the  outer corner of your eye which just kind of makes them longer and gets rid of any creases. Then after putting your eyeliner on, you just let go and your eyeliner is on better. Not in a racist way, but imagine someone pulling their eyes to look Asian. Just like that only with your eye closed.

sharpen the pencil and dot in a line, use a sponge tip to smudge in perfections

Gently pull your skin so it is flat, and slowly draw a line across the lid without stopping. Place your elbow on a table or counter for balance, and use liquid instead of pencil, it works wonders!
