  1. There are several solutions to reach Porte de la Chapelle station from Charles de Gaulle airport. Predominantly the bus and the tube. If what you're looking for is taking the fastest route possible, then it depends if you should make the trip during rush hours or not. If it's during rush hours, I would advise using the subway because the bus risks to be stuck in traffic jam, otherwise, the bus may be faster, though this is not guaranteed. It's all a matter of your own convenience. In both cases, you should expect an hour to make the trip.

Ok so here are the trips you need to do in both cases:

    By bus:

Take the CDGVal metro making the shuttle between various airport terminals to reach Roissypôle. Once there, take the bus n°350 and drop it at "Porte de la Chapelle" stop. You have time so don't be too stressed of missing the stop untill you've spent 45 minutes in the bus.

    By tube:

Follow the signs saying "RER B - Paris by train". If you land at Charles de Gaulle 2, you should directly reach it by foot ; if you land at Charles de Gaulle 1, then you should take first the CDGVal metro and stop at Roissypôle. Jump in the RER B in the direction of Paris and stop at Gare du Nord station. Once there, follow the signs for line 4 following the direction northbound (it's written "Porte de Clignancourt"). Once on line 4, stop at Marcadet-Poissonniers to take the line 12 northbound in direction of Porte de la Chapelle. And then you're arrived at Porte de la Chapelle.

Here is a quick link to the itinerary planner of the English speaking website of the Paris metro:

To find your way, you should pick the "station" category, then write "Aéroport Charles de Gaulle" as departure and "Porte de la Chapelle" as arrival. Afterwards, pick your options, and take the transport you consider the most convenient.

This is just a personnal opinion, but I think the metro option is more convenient as there are less risk you'll get lost. Now, the bus option is on paper more simple and direct, though not necessarily faster. It's all up to you.

  2. There is a metro station in the airport.

If you need any info about public transportation (bus, metro, suburban trains) the official site is great because it calculates for you the time and even gives you the best way to get anywhere (it's the site Parisian use to get around)

    www.francilien.fr

  3. I know exactly where that hotel is. You need to take the RER from the station at CDG back into paris to any metro station that intersects with ligne 2 or ligne 5 to get Porte de la Chapelle.  You may need to take a bus to CDG's Terminal 2 (RER and TGV train station) to catch the RER into Paris. Be forewarned you need a ticket to ride the RER. For non-europeans (or those without  Carte Bleue) must purchase a RER train ticket from a window only. But if you come prepared with at least 10 euros in change (no paper money in machines) you can purchase a ticket from the ticket machine and board the train like a experienced traveler.  The hotel is not far from the Pte de la Chapelle metro station.

  4. You have to take the RER to the city and transfer to the train. there is also a bus that goes from the airport to the opera garnier stop, not sure what other stops it goes to. If you do the train be prepared for a lot of steps, there are escalators on the RER but not on the public train. Also if you fly via Air France they offer free shuttles to various parts of the city. Check their site for specific locations.

  5. you have to take RER, then metro. But not today...

  6. I took the text below from the airports web page:

    http://www.paris-cdg.com/transportation....

    Train Services

The rapid RER train service links Charles de Gaulle Airport with central Paris . Trains run every 15 minutes (eight minutes in peak periods) and the journey takes approximately 35 minutes. Line B runs from the TGV station at Terminal 2 to Gare du Nord, Châtelet-les-Halles, Saint-Michel and Denfert-Rochereau, with connections to the metro.

So catch a train to the city, then get on the metro. The hotel will tell you the nearest metro station to the hotel.
