Is there a tutorial for a severed limb? 3d or after effects?

Question

I need a tutorial that covers a severed limb. I need to create the

Meaty end-still attached to the talent. The effect must be realistic and cover the movement and adhere to the said limb. ( 3D? ) tut' to cover compositing into 2d footage also.

Please only reply if you can do this, or point me in the right direction
