Is there a type of mite that could be biting me , coming from only one room in my house? marks are big /itchy

I think i have a mite that bites me in carpet, ?carpet is old and had been flooded before my moving in.help!

it only happens when i sleep in living room and i have bombed and still got bit. This carpet stains when even water is dropped on it( if that makes any difference) could there be a mite that bites me so bad, that I have a half inch of hardness under bite?i can show picstures that would make anyone concerned. The property management office didnt have carpets cleaned pre moving in and i have been here 1 and half yrs. they also bite my 7 yrs. old son. if anyone knows any info plz help.

Tell the people in the property management office about this problem. And your best bet is to replace the carpet. At the very least, it should have been cleaned.

with out sounding harsh or sharp why not try & change the carpet ? also ststic can feel like a bite, do you have moving furniture in the room ie comp chair if so spray the carpet with soapy water fairy liquid normally works ;-)

Fleas maybe?  if they didn't clean it I sure would have.
