Is there a type of tape that won't ruin paint?

my mom won't let me use tape on my wall to hang posters, and i was wondering if there is a type of tape that i could use that won't ruin the paint? also, keep in mind that i'll have the posters up for about 6 months at a time.

  1. look for tape thats blue. its actually used by painters and stuff. its a bit expensive, tho. you can probably get it at lowes or staples.


  2. yes there is. I believe its called painters tape. It's blue usually and i believe you can buy it at home depot maybe even target.

  3. You can use blue painter's tape. You pull off about a 2 inch strip and make a loop sticky side out. You then put the tape on the backs of the corners of the poster and flatten out the loop, so it's like double-sided tape. Then put the poster on the wall. The blue painter's tape is designed to come off of painted surfaces easily without lifting up the paint or leaving a sticky residue.
