Is there a vegan alternative for 'condensed milk'?

Question

trying to make a vegan version of banoffee pie, and ive look at some recuipes and i can change all the ingredients accept the condensed milk.

I doubt there is a straight alternative, however, get some almond milk and whisk in a little cornstarch
