Buffet food can be great, but I'd like to order a dish from a varied choice for a change.

  1. Mr Kong's restaurant in Chinatown (21 Lisle Street) is a reasonably priced vegetarian restaurant.

I've never been but Yauatcha in Soho (15-17 Broadwick Street) gets great reviews. It's not soley vegetarian but has an extensive selection of veggie dishes to choose from.

And finally, Tai of Soho (10 Greek Street) does a great all you can eat vegetarian buffet for a fiver.

  2. Yeah, although there are loads and loads of veggie chinese buffets. There is one by camden tube station, if you come out and are facing the globe or whatever its called turn left and its just across the road, they have awesome fake meat stuff!

  3. yes there are loads of these in london try the yellow pages

  4. There are several Chinese vegetarian restaurants in London listed on VegDining.com.  Check this site out; you might also find some other of their features interesting.

Some of these restaurants have been reviewed by people who have actually dined there, so their reviews could help.

    Good luck!

  5. theres are great veg indian restaurant in hammersmith on kings street....very good and yummy and cheap!!

  6. Try Taiwan Village in Fulham (Lillie Road), not specifically vege, but excellent food. As delicious as Hakka San but much nicer staff, (have had Chinese New Year at both).

We have called and booked in advance, as I am vege, and they have specially prepared vege dishes not on menu for us (altho my friend arranged this in Mandarin and  knew what she wanted). Reasonably priced too. Just let them have a few days notice.

  7. DO THEY PUT MEAT IN CHINESE FOOD?
