I want to download all the individual parts of a film off youtube, and put them together using some form of editor so that I can watch it as a full film. Are there any sites or software that would allow you to do that? Any help would be appreciated!!

  1. Boilsoft Video joiner, will join them into one file.but its only a trial.

  2. any basic movie editor can do that use windows movie maker

  3. Hi - Good question: I think you'll find that Windows Movie maker will probably not be up to the task. Generally with multiple files or clips that are longer than a certain length WMM will tend to seize up or slow down.

My advice would be to try one of the other free video editing tools that are available.

    Jahshaka

    T@B ZS4

    Wax

    Video Spin

    Vivia

    Avidemux

    Blender

    .. to name a few.

I would suggest looking at something like VirtualDub. It's small, powerful and quick. Basically you create a single script that contains all the files you want to connect and set the script running. It can also clean up noise and sharpen video as it goes.

    Did I mention it's free?

Yahoo! Answers community guidelines prohibit me from posting the link to my web site which has a complete list of these tools. A quick look at my profile will yield that information, though.

    Thanks... Freevideoman
