  3. omg!

    i hope nottt??

  4. The rock mountain that makes up the Camarillo Grade is from an ancient volcano millions of years old.  There is no active Volcano in Ventura county

  5. Not a visible one. Ventura County sits on the edge of the continental plate and is on fault lines that are active. Where ever you have seismic activity and the added pressure of the plate moving there is always the possibility of some kind of volcanic activity.  A volcano does not have to be belching lava to be a volcano there are all kinds of instances where nobody thought a volcano was near only to be rudely shaken by the sudden explosion of volcanic activity. For thousands of years man kind has been suddenly suprised by these things and hundreds of thousands of people have lost there live from the repercussions of volcanic activity going undetected until it was to late. There are maps available locally to show where this tectonic plates and the faults lie.

  6. I think it is.
