Is there a way, when searching Yahoo, that you can get to results that aren't displayed?

I was searching for something I knew existed so I typed in a basic keyword that should have brought up the page, but it said that nothing was found. And even after I click 'View omitted search results' the page isn't displayed. Interchanging that word for another of the exact same importance and position on basically the same type of page, I got the results I expected. What causes the one page not to be displayed, and is it possible for me to find a way to find those pages with the search method that wouldn't pop up? It's very odd to me, as some pop up and others don't, but it would be very beneficial to me to learn if there is a way that I could get to those pages that should come up but don't.
