Is there a way 2 call a mexican cell phone w/a phone card usin a landline? Im tryin 2 call an Acapulco Cell.?

I'm trying to call an Acapulco, Mexico Cell using a landline with a phone card but I'm not getting no results. I dial 011 + 52 + 744 + the phone number (which is a 7 digit number) but nothing happens, any help?

my husband lives in puebla mexico and i call him alot. the difference in calling a cell phone there is no only the 011-52 but also a 1 before the number. you would leave off the 1 if it is a landline. Also you can purchase phone cards to call mexico cheaper at a mexican store where you live. Just tell the clerk you want a calling card to call mexico and to where they can give you cheaper for the area you need. when I use my calling card it is around 13 cents per minute which is cheaper than my phone services.

I highly recommend that you check with your long distance provider to find out how to dial Acapulco exactly.

I don't think you should dial the 1 at the start. Also, do you have long distance on the phone you are using? I hope that helps@
