  1. People can not add you as an connected Friend without you accepting the invitation. Simply click the "Ignore and Delete" button on the invitation. If you are unsure of the person, check their 360 space thoroughly, particularly the "Member Since" date on the left side of the "My Page". The best people can do is add you as a Favorite, which is basically a way of bookmarking your page (see http://help.yahoo.com/l/ca/yahoo/360/fri... ). Favorites can only interact with aspects of your 360 space that are "Public" or are designated as a permission group that they are a part of (like "Friends of Friends").

Yet if you don't want to receive invitations from people all over Yahoo!360, then you can click on "My Page", click the "Edit Contact Settings" link on the left side, change the permissions for the Invitations "Friends" or "Friends of Friends", then click the "Save" button. See http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/360/per... for what these permissions mean.

If your concern is beyond just invitations, you can do the same for other communication settings on that page, plus do the following:

    1) Ignore the person (see http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/360/fri... for how to use that feature).

    2) Ignoring someone doesn't stop them from commenting on the page. However, this is why you have permissions to stop such action.

If the ignored person IS NOT a connected friend:

If you want someone to not be able to comment and they are not connected to you, then you will have to change your Top Page and Blog comments from "Public" permissions to "Friends" permissions.

    TOP PAGE:

    - In your "My Page," click on the "Settings" link for the comment module (in lower left corner of the page).

    - In the "Allow comments by:" drop down, set it to "Just Me (Private)."

    - Uncheck the "enable quick comments box" as well. NOTE: Unchecking this prevents everyone from commenting. Checking it allows everyone to comment. There's no separating into categories here.

    - Click the "Save" button.

    BLOG:

Click "Edit Blog Settings" link on your "My Blog" page. Change the permission for "Who can post comments to your blog" to Friends. Click the "Save" button.

    3) If somehow the non-connected person is actually harassing you after doing the above, while logged in, go to the Abuse form at

http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/360/for... . Make sure that you are going back to your country's version of the abuse form. I find reporting through the US form is most effective. It's not clear what you mean about "fake profiles" -- if someone is cloning a person's page, you should notify that person so that they can report that 360 space.

    Please provide the following information:

    * Web address of the Yahoo! 360° page (e.g., http://360.yahoo.com/profile-group of numbers and letters).

    * What exactly happened. Be specific. Do not type in all capitals. But stay on topic - point out the exact violation of Y!360 guidelines or Yahoo! Terms of Service.

*The Yahoo! ID and/or email address of the person who is harassing you. Find out any information you can on the person.

  2. Hi Riya!!!!

I think you have one option of letting only those people add you who are there in the contacts of your contacts on 360. By this, you can reduce the possibility of letting some unknown users to add you.

    Go to settings->Communication Settings-->Y!360 invitations-->select friends of friends-->Save.

    Hope I helped.
