Is there a way I can block a specific 877 number that continues to call my home?

Check with your phone company. Most offer "call screen" services that lets your block out certain phone numbers. Check with your telephone company for assistance. Note that the blocking services will differ from company to company. Check with your company personally. Some can block 877 numbers, some won't.

Furthermore, check your telephone laws applicable to where you live. For example, in Canada, the CRTC mandates that all companies must run a do not call list. You tell them to add your number to that list and they must do so within 7 days and never call you again.  But telecommunications regulations vary by region, so check with your government's communications regulator. (CRTC for Canada, FCC for USA).

phone providers will not block 877 nor 800 number, the only sure way is a caller ID manager!!
