Is there a way I can get a bond valuation of a CMO for free?

I have some bonds that were a gift, but I am not really sure what they are worth. They are collateralized mortgage obligations, and my broker/dealer does not deal with them. How can I find out what they are worth, for free. I own them and have the CUSIP

every bond as a CUSIP identification number - put it into search engines and see if you get anything back. try it at bloomberg.com .

Aside from looking up their cusip. You can also call or deposit them in a brokerage account and they will tell you.
