Is there a way I can get dye out of my shorts?

I spilled dye on my favorite shorts yesterday. I have no idea what kind of dye it was, I just know it came in a kit for tye dying. Please help!

Rid or Rit brand dyes sells a product to remove dyes.  It is usually in the laundry isle.  I'm in the midwest and see it all the time at Jewel/Alberston's and also at Walmart.  Good luck!
