Is there a way I can send a fax if I dont have a fax machine?

I dont know anyone with a fax machine... Is there still a way I can send it, through a library or something maybe? I dont know, I cant even buy one right now... Help?? I just want to send an informal fax though... So how can I send one?

  1. Go to the public library.  Our library charges $2 for the first page and $1 for each additional page.


  2. Does your computer have a fax modem?

    If so you can do it yourself, and the software is probably already in your computer.  If not, Google and download.

    Did you Google sending faxes over the internet through a number of free or low cost services that exist?  (You email your file to them, and they fax the document.)

    A lot of office supply stores will send  faxes cheaply.

    If a fax is "government related: or fdor a job application, a lot of government offices will send a short one (under 6 pages) for you, for free.

    A lot of libraries will do the same.  So will some schools or colleges, especially if you were an alumni...

  3. My bank will send any faxes I need sent at no cost to me (extra cost, anyway).

  4. Yes, go to a mail/office place like a fed ex drop off or a kinkos. Or get your self an Efax # online for cheep.
