Is there a way I can tell how far I ran?

I just ran from my house and around my neighborhood and I was wondering if there is some website i can go to where i trace my course and it tells me how many miles i ran?

useing maps helps or even easyer is to use a pedometer. Google earth is a way i checked mialage untill i got a pedometer.
